Privacy Policy
WidgetHajv doesn’t collect any personal data. Your Home Assistant connection stays between your device and your own server.
Information we collect
None. There are no accounts, no analytics, no advertising and no tracking. We, the developer, never receive any of your data.
Your Home Assistant connection
To work, WidgetHajv needs the address of your Home Assistant server and a long-lived access token that you create in Home Assistant. These are stored only on your device, in the iOS Keychain, and are only ever sent to the Home Assistant server you entered. They are never sent to us or to anyone else.
Smart home data
The app fetches the state of your devices, such as lights, sensors and locks, directly from your own Home Assistant server. To show this data in widgets, a copy is saved on your device. This data never leaves your device, except when the app talks to your own server.
Third-party services
WidgetHajv doesn’t use any third-party analytics, tracking or advertising services. The app only connects to the Home Assistant server you set up. If you use a remote access service for Home Assistant, such as Home Assistant Cloud by Nabu Casa, that service’s own privacy policy applies to that connection.
Data security
Your server address and access token are stored in the iOS Keychain and never leave your device, except when the app connects to your own server. We recommend using an https:// address when connecting to Home Assistant from outside your home network.
Your control
Since we don’t collect any personal data, there’s nothing for us to access, correct or delete. Tap Settings → Disconnect in the app to remove your server address, token and saved data from your device. Deleting the app removes everything as well.
